What a disgusting start from Milan. They lost 2-1 to the Cremonese. Although, they dominated the possession, made more attemps, it's not enough to help them in winning this game. It's getting even more painful when they lost to the Cremonese at home who play with no good players.
Allegri's decision to start RLC and Fofana against this promoted club is a criminal. Bring him back to the Milan is just one of another blunder by their management. Their lost reminds me when Milan fans were so happy when he's leaving them.  Cheesy Cheesy
The season started very poorly, losing at home to Cremonese, whose overall strength isn't much better than AC Milan. I highlighted AC Milan's defense in this match, which I felt was very poor, resulting in a lack of organization.
However, there's no judgment on the first match, although I do have some doubts about AC Milan's prospects for this season. Massimiliano Allegri still has plenty of time to bounce back.
Hope Allegri does his best in the upcoming games. If it's not, he will be sacked even before the winter. His team has numerous problem need to be solved especially in the defense. They can't really compete for UCL spot with that kind of defense. Conceded two goals at home by newl promote team in the opening game was totally unacceptable.
Since AC Milan was at home, I was expecting them to play nice football against Cremonese and beat them with at least 2-0 or 3-0, but I was surprised when I checked livescore and I found out AC Milan couldn't win or draw against the newly promoted Cremonese in their opening Serie A match this season. I didn't watch the match to identify AC Milan's weakness in the match but since you said AC Milan's defense was one of the reasons Cremonese defeated AC Milan, AC Milan still has little time to sign defenders before the transfer window closes if they want to challenge in the Serie A and Champions League.
