The wait is over finally after a long break between season we are back.
Napoli being the main contender after Inter fall is not normal, and the other bigger teams from Italy are still in troubles and are not real contenders, i have some faith on Rome under the management of Gianpiero Gasperini.
I enjoy Serie A because it is not a farmed league as Ligue 1, in the past 5-6 years we've had the title rotated among different teams not just one club in particular repeatedly winning the title. Napoli won last Serie A title, for this season i do think they have a chance once again, Inter was supposed to contend for the title but they don't seem ready, i will give their spot to any team that can withstand push, either Milan, Juventus, including the Rome you mentioned.
For a fact the Seria A league is more competitive than the French league one that is wholly dominated by one club (PSG). This season I also think Napoli have a good chance at retaining the title of league champions, the have a good squad and well strengthened this season. If they could win it with a weaker squad talk more now that they have improved further.
