I recently encountered an ad from youtube about a gambling platform and it featured a very popular celebrity in my country. It was short but a good amount of time was dedicated at the end warning gamblers that gambling will not be the solution to their financial problems and it will not improve their economic status. It got my nod of approval because it really is that easy. But some governments still think that this kind of warning is not enough for gamblers to stay responsible. But don’t you think that a constant reminder can wake someone up from delusion? What do you think? Is this enough or should there be more ways to promote responsible gambling?
It really depends on because if that certain celebrity is very influential and that could inspire them to be responsible in each thing they'll do in life. But generally, I think it's not enough because there's a lot of factors to consider that can affect a person in gambling. Actually, there are countless of warnings already that can be seen and hear from people who experienced multiple losses in gambling but here we are, they're still trying to gamble and still relying on that small percentage of luck. The government should establish a seminar of using this kind of platforms, to make them responsible in gambling and if they still losses then it's their personal problems.
