I got notification about "On October 14, window 10 will stop receiving technical support of free update". Its mean we must update as soon as possible for window 11 but hearing bad news about OP thread I am confusing what have to do update or keep stay with window 10.
I am excited waiting another respond or opinion about what have to do keep stay with window 10 or updating to window 11 although I heard any bad news for our computer security when updating to window 11.
No!
Afaik, you will only stop getting the security patch updates. But the rest of the system will run as before, even with no more security update!
Yes, you can use Win 10! You don't necessarily need to switch to Win 11. No worries.
It seems source of the news is just single X tweet. I'm not saying the one who made that tweet is lying, but there's possibility the actual reason/cause is something else.
Nope, the news is true. It's been verified.
If things legit, then I will also consider changing to windows 10 to avoid losing my on my SSD because some data will be lost forever since I don’t have proper backup.
No need to change. Just stop auto update and if it's already updated then just uninstall it and don't write any large data files until they patch it..
I run W-10, and I don't update it.

Good for you Lol!

I don't agree, I think you should "update" Windows. I recently bought a new HP laptop, and it came with Windows 11. I was shocked by all the rubbish on it, such as Copilot, and I did experiment with it for about 3 days. Then I wiped the disk, and installed Ubuntu Studio. I've been running Bodhi Linux on my Huawei laptop for everyday use, and I love it. I really can't understand why anyone would use any Microsoft products, especially when you realise what Bill Gates does with his money. Covid injections and Bovaer are just two of the health damaging products he is forcing on an increasingly unhealthy world population.
We are specifically talking about Windows here. I do agree Linux based distro is better but you should also consider Windows userbase. This post is intended only for win users.
Sorry for the late in responses. I have been traveling.
