Realistically speaking, for me gambling is just a matter of desire, because it is more related to entertainment and enjoyment for us men. But on the other hand, I am well aware that desire should not override necessity. Work is a primary necessity, something that really must be prioritized. So, for example, if on a day off that I could use to relax or gamble just for fun, there are still some unfinished work tasks, I will choose to complete those tasks first. Even if it means missing a soccer match or a big contest, I won't regret it. For me, responsibility and the necessities of life are always more important than mere momentary pleasure.

That's how it is supposed to be, if one has a sustainable stream of income, they should prioritize and protect that source of income because gambling is not the way out of financial freedom. Some people lost their job because of their gambling addiction lifestyle and some have missed big opportunities because of gambling, so it's always very important that a gambler or bettor should know the right thing to do so that they don't lose very important stuff because of gambling. What addicted and compulsive gamblers have in common is losses, I don't think it usually gets better for them by just being addicted.
