The historic rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona certainly won't change this season; it always has been and always will be. Real Madrid doesn't seem to have improved compared to last year, perhaps just time to stabilize? I hope they can show us their numbers in a couple of weeks; they have a promising squad, but they seem a bit lacking in energy yet.
I'll wait a little longer before making any bets on La Liga.
It will never change indeed unless Atletico Madrid get their sh*t together.  Tongue  It will go on to be a title rivalry between only these two teams, Barcelona and Real Madrid...

Barcelona are bookmakers' favourite for the La Liga title this season. But by a slight gap... After seeing how consistent Xabi Alonso's team is, we would have a better idea. For now I'm also one of those people who are expecting a back-to-back for Barcelona.
Atletico Madrid has only been able to pull off the occasional upset to disrupt the rivalry between Barcelona and Real Madrid, and that hasn't happened this season. We can see Atletico Madrid's poor performance in their last two matches, so don't expect anything from them.

The rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona will remain fierce this season, although the betting odds slightly favor Barcelona. In fact, I think it's evident in the last two matches that Barcelona's strength has increased. While Real Madrid's changes haven't shown any signs of improvement, I believe anything is possible over the long course of the season.
I think that even though Diogo Simone has achieved lot with this club winning the laliga title and playing in the finals of the champions League some years ago he has ran out of ideas and has over stayed his welcome the best thing is for him to move to another club because at it's stand now ATM is now a club that has no ambition both in Europe and in the domestic league
