Xabi Alonso is trying to set up a winning team, that's doesn't mean that he has a lot of time on his side, he needs to keep winning while building his team because if the results is not coming forth while building his team, he will be sacked in no distance time, and that is what he is doing.
Firing Xabi after only one year of work is ridiculous, in my opinion. He should have been given at least three years. I think he is a good coach, he enjoys the process and does not rely on instant players. So Xabi has a philosophy of developing young players for the future. Just look at the new players who have arrived. Many of them are young. Firing him quickly will only make Madrid's situation worse; the players and management need time to adapt.
I don't know who's saying this, but it's a completely pointless idea. Real Madrid's long-term management is like a habit. They've had a long tenure with Carlo Ancelotti. I'm sure Xabi will have a successful season with Real Madrid this year and prove all this criticism and rhetoric to be false. He's an exceptional manager and gets along very well with the young players. Just look at how good Arda Güler has been since his arrival. He's also trying to get the players used to his new position.
