I searched for this thread before I was able to see it and decided to bump it.
Today Manchester United has a meeting with Grimsby, what do you think will be the score?
I am a Manchester United fan, but with the performance of Manchester United, I am not even confident that we will be able to beat Grimsby, that is how bad it is.
I know that Amorim will try younger players like;
Mainoo,
Heaven,
Chidobi,
And this time around, Sezko canake his first appearance for the team.
What do you think will be the score?
This could be a great opportunity for Amorim to experiment or simply give their young players some playing time. Frankly, I'm curious, will Amorim give Kobbie Mainoo a place, as I know Kobbie Mainoo has not played a single minute so far. So if Kobbie Mainoo is not played against Grimsby, then the rumor could be true that Mainoo will leave Man United.
Apart from that, it might be the first time we see Benjamin Sesko as a starter in this match, and I hope Sesko can quickly get used to his new team and also get his first goal. This is indeed an away game for Man United, but I think there is no reason for Man United to fail to win.
Yes, apart from what we have pointed out, we still need to acknowledge the fact that Amorim is yet not certain of his first eleven. Imagine the position he played Amad the last meeting with Fulham. I am also not confident the position he plays Mount as false 9 or whatever he does. I just think that a simple 4-3-3 will work well for Manchester United. Just get a strong midfielder and play Cunha, Bruno and Mbeumo or you play Cunha, Sesko and Mbeumo. The return Bruno as a top central midfielder which will always join attack ie 4-3-3 B. The play Casimero and Mainoo as double 4 and the play your natural 4 men defence and all will be well.
