Newcastle rejected not 100 million but 110 million. According to leaks, Liverpool are preparing a new offer of 130 million (+ bonuses), but Newcastle are expected to reject this offer too. I don't understand why they are trying to persuade him, they should just stop paying him, fine him for breaking his contract and calmly wait for the transfer window to close.
