You are right there was decline in Kenyan cricket since 2003 World Cup major high point for them. It is clear that countries like Uganda are improving Kenya is falling behind and could soon be overtaken by other regional teams like Tanzania and Rwanda and Malawi. You are also right to criticize ICC for its role in this as they havr seemingly supported countries like Zimbabwe while neglecting to give enough money to promising nations like Kenya. This lack of funding from global governing body is big reason cricket has struggled to grow in smaller countries.
Today Kenyan batsmen have played very well in their innings, in which they have scored these runs with great strength and hard work. Along with their batting, their bowlers should also support them and work hard, which can give them a very good victory. The Kenyan batsmen have scored 278 runs which can be a good victory, but they should not be careless because it can also give them a bad defeat because Papua New Guinea is also a good and hard-working team. But the effort of their batsmen to score runs is not that good which is the advantage of the Kenyan bowler in wasting balls. The Papua New Guinean batsmen have scored 51 runs which is low, if they open with good effort, they can also have a chance of victory.
