Although the mid-table competition was quite tight last season, I don't see any underdog teams causing a surprise this season, competing with big teams like Ittihad, Al Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Ahli, and Al Qadisiyah at the top of the table. This is because the gap between the top teams and the middle and bottom teams is very clear, with the latter being filled with top-class players who originally played in Europe.
The only underdog team I'm highlighting is Al Shabab, who performed quite well last season, accumulating a significant number of points and goals. This is also due to the presence of European players in their squad.
AI Shabab is not an underdog this season even if they cannot compete the third or the second, they should have earned there place as a club that is being promoted from the underdog to club that has found themselves but although anytime they meet clubs as big as the top Saudi teams is definitely going to be there lost because AI Hilal is becoming a club with so much worth than the rest but for Ittihad AI Shabab still got a lot of means on them because since they have not started we might as well no what they had last season to see my point of thinking AI Shabab is not that behind on them.
