Gambling advertisements don’t need to be normalized during sports matches, and in my opinion, they don’t disrupt anything. From what I understand, if someone is genuinely just a fan of a particular sport, they tend to ignore any advertisements and keep their eyes on the game. On the other hand, normalizing gambling ads won’t necessarily reduce the number of new gamblers either. These days, we see gambling ads almost everywhere,even across all kinds of social media platforms. So for me, normalizing gambling advertisements is not the right approach.
