Government who are banning casino in their country are not even focusing on the main problems because if they focus on the main problem why many people go into gambling, it will reduce the interest of gambling.
The solution to reduce gambling rate is to create employment for the people and this is the only way to help out than to ban gambling because banning the people from having access to gambling doesn't change the situation, doing this is jus the same as doing the wrong thing at the wrong time.
How can I say no if you are completely right, but governments have their own interests, even in the best and most developed countries there is corruption, sometimes they don't even care that their people are doing well, but rather their own interest, then they get involved in industries like gambling to see how much money they can get out of it, and if the business is not convenient for them , then they simply ban it.
Governments don't care about citizens at all. They don't care about their individual needs, dreams and goals. All they do is to simply act trying to avoid social convulsion and generalized chaos. And by forbidding gambling, that is what governments try to do, because they fear people end wasting all their money on gambling games, boosting discontent among the population, since besides not having jobs and a decent financial condition, they are also losing the few they have to gambling.
As you can see, governments care for their own survival, while the survival of the population is just a consequence and a mean to avoid complete uprising.
