This is a truly humiliating defeat in history, Manchester United was knocked out by Grimsby, a fourth division club, in a dramatic penalty shootout. What Manchester United went through today is a shock to many, as this defeat has truly gone beyond all tolerable limits. In my opinion, the club top brass must thoroughly evaluate the squad and take a firm stance before Manchester United experiences a more severe decline, even if it means sacking Ruben Amorim.

Starting the season with three games without a win is a bad sign, and Ruben Amorim certainly realizes that the pressure on his shoulders is now getting heavier. Meanwhile, it's difficult to predict Manchester United's future performance, the revival that fans hope for seems difficult to happen this season. I assume that if Ruben Amorim still fails to secure a win in the next two matches, Manchester United management will fire him.
Ruben Amorim's performance against Grimsby shows he's not fit to lead Manchester United to success. He underestimated Grimsby and left his key players on the bench, forgetting that this is a knockout game. In a match like this, you'd normally start with your strongest squad and score enough goals to secure victory. Because underestimating a team can backfire sometimes. I recall Chelsea's match against Grimsby Town in 2019, where they won 7-1 due to their impressive performance. I had similar expectations for Manchester United match yesterday, but the result was disappointing due to Ruben Amorim's tactical errors. Keeping him in charge would likely lead to even more disastrous outcomes.
