From my experience in Bitcoin investment I have come to realize that it is an asset that is best to hold on the long term. So far you understand that Bitcoin has the potentials to always increase and reach ATH after dip you should focus on the long term for guaranteed profits.

If you are not a trader that understands the risk of buying and selling on the short term it is better to invest for the long term. If you invest with the intention of making profit on a specific short term and when that time reaches then Bitcoin happen to dip bellow the price that you bought, it will be an unprofitable venture. Example is what we are experiencing now, some short term investors that perhaps bought at $120k and planing to take profit on 27th august, will be disappointed. Another disadvantage is that you can panic and sell at a loss believing that it will dump again instead of leaving it for the long term to appreciate again.

For peace of mind buy and hodl for a long term atleast for two bull circles you will be sure that whatever price will be then you will be in profit. DCA method is recommendable for income earners, buy with a percentage of your income and hold for the long term.
There is no point when you invest your money in something and you sell when you know you are not going to make profit from it rather you lose some percentage from your capital, that is not a wise man's investment strategy. From what I have discovered of recent in some discussions, when you invest into Bitcoin for short term you will not get any profit and even though you make profit from your short term plans it can not be compared to the amount you would have made if you invest for long term. Because short term investment can't give a profit when you invest is thw reason you should try long term investment.
