I'm not sure where I wasn't clear enough. Yes, no one has the right to limit the rights of people if they want to register under their real names. But we aren't talking about it. Let's say that you signed up here with your real name. But let's say that after some time you decide that you don't want to use your real name here for privacy reasons. This is why some people here asked to change their nickname.
Not sure what it has to do with Facebbok. Because on Facebook your're supposed to signup with your real name. This is whattheirrules requires.
