True but we have players playing better for their national team than their clubs. Cucurella form picked up with spain before it started showing in his performance at club level.
Cucurella was always brilliant for Brighton and Hove Albion.
I can attest to that on Cucurrella he was a brilliant left-back all that time with Brighton he made an improvement on his brilliance on joining Chelsea.

I don't think it's bad if we ask our players to do the same for us. I don't see any player (apart from Osimhen) giving his best to the national team.
What i see in this thread is not people asking for better perfromance from the Super Eagles, it is endless criticism, even when it isn't necessary. One user was criticizing the Super Eagles for finishing runner-up in the last AFCON, of course i wanted us to win it, but it didn't happen, but how can someone say the team that finished second position had a terrible tournament. I don't know if some people who post in this thread actually watch football.
A better performance will produce the expected results the fans are taxing from the super eagles and from all have seen the users in this thread asking for is that the super eagles should live up to expectations in the energy they give for their individual clubs. There is a level of team-effort the super eagles will give in this tournament qualifiers and the people will be satisfied that they tried their best, and not this average results.

You won't see Moroccan players act the way our Nigerian players are acting same can be said about most nations in the continent.

And what is special about the Moroccan national team, 1 AFCON win in their history, as far back as 1976, and one good World Cup outing and you sound like they are a bigger nation in African football than the team that has won three times and have been runner-up multiple times. That said, i know it is typical of Nigerians to bring down their own at every opportunity.
Presently the Moroccan football players are more zealous with their national team than the Nigerian players are doing in theirs. You'll see Achraf Hakimi giving equal and even more energy when playing for his country as he does for PSG. We use to notice this in the super eagles of Jay-jay Okaocha, Kano Nwankwo, Babayaro etc times. The super eagles we have now are made of players who are more interested in making money than making names and making the country proud. It is not about bringing down of any one.
