AC Milan, Chelsea agree Christopher Nkunku transfer — reports
According to multiple reports this morning, including from Fabrizio Romano and The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Chelsea and AC Milan have agreed a deal for Christopher Nkunku, with the forward now set to travel to Italy for his medical and the final bits of paperwork.
Well that's good amount of money Milan paid to Chelsea for someone who rarely scored in PL. Can i call Ac Milan as Chelsea's savior? They often bought Chelsea player, and that's what they are. Only hope he won't be another flop and become the next Pulisic who develier for Milan.
Well, I hope AC Milan manages to land a player who can truly contribute significantly to the team. If AC Milan fails again, the team will likely have to consider buying another potential player in the next transfer window, even if it means spending more money. Alternatively, AC Milan could emulate Chelsea in scouting promising young players and developing them within the team.
Nkunku, as an attacking midfielder, hasn't been particularly prolific in terms of goalscoring. Last season, in 27 appearances for Chelsea, he only contributed 3 goals and 2 assists. While that's not a bad record, it's not an achievement to be proud of either.
Perhaps the competition in Serie A will allow Nkunku to adapt more easily and show his true potential. I don't think the competition in Serie A is as fierce as in the Premier League.
AC Milan problem has been not having a solid midfield they need to get a midfielder that is prolific in distributing the ball to the attack the connection between the midfield and the attacking lineup is missing so until they fix that problem there will not be any improvement
