That's what Al Nassr needs. They don't need to regret what they've been through. Jorge Jesus as Al Nassr's coach doesn't actually need a lot of praise. What he has done has had a positive impact on his team, which has made it to the final. However what he needs is a new tactic that can improve the team so that it can play even better. The defense is something that Al Nassr needs to pay special attention to and fix immediately. If they manage to plan their team composition carefully, it should have a very positive impact on the team's performance in future matches, unlike in the past. So I think they don't need to worry about praise, improvement should be their main focus. And maybe they need to revamp their back line, which could be replaced with players who are more capable in the defense. Meanwhile the other lines have performed quite well contributing more to the team. The attack line has also been excellent led by Cristiano Ronaldo along with his teammates. I personally think Al Nassr needs to be serious about realizing that they need to fix the mistakes just a part of their team. So that this team does not experience continuous technical errors as the same mistake as before.
You are right that the attack has been working its way. Ronaldo continues to score (100th club goal + scoring in the shootout). Félix and Coman brought in $64.65m worth of creativity. But, Al Nassr conceded in the 45+6' and 89'... literally the "championship minutes" where elite teams lock down games. Jorge Jesus kept pressing high with 30+ year-old CBs (Martínez 34, Laporte 31) and then subbed like-for-like at 78' and 86' instead of bringing on a DM/3rd CB to close the 82' lead. Then, corner, Bento comes out and flaps, 2–2
People forget: they spent big on the attack, while the only "reinforcement" in defense was Martínez on a free. Meanwhile, Al Hilal dropped €25m on defenders and look how balanced they look. So there is nothing wrong with applauding Jesus, but unless they lower the line or shuffle the squad (and maybe push youth like Salem Al-Najdi, 22, into the rotation), they will continue to perform this movie: sterile possession, even xG/shot (0.143 vs 0.144) and lapses that cost trophies
