The main issue with Trossard lately has been his fitness level [specifically endurance] while also becoming susceptible to different injuries [unfortunately]... Martinelli has been underperforming for the past two seasons and I really don't think he's suitable for the LW position [IMO, Arteta should rotate him with Gyökeres instead (Martinelli played well in that position before and at the start of Arteta's era)]. In other words, Rodrygo will get enough time [if we sign him] on that LW position [even with those two remaining in our club].
The Rodrygo deal is not even close; higher wages and high asking fees and his future at the club is still uncertain, he hasnt been playing since Xabi came in and also he seems not to be too bothered about moving elsewhere.
Wasn't Maduake signed to fill the LW position? I saw a number of Chelsea games before he moved to Arsenal. I told some Arsenal supporters that Maduake isn't going to address their LW problems because he has a weak right foot and prefers to cut and shoot with his left foot, which can only be done from the RW position. At Chelsea, he was a liability on the LW everytime he moved there.
I doubt any team will eventually sign Rodrygo looking at his recent performance and then matching it with his wage demand and club transfer fee.
Noni Madueke can still do well at Arsenal but expecting crosses from him should be less, at least he can add some threat to their attacks and if he is not being greedy improve team play.
