Is it gone for good?
I've got a screenshot from almost every day going back years (5-10 ??). Would be a pity if it died.
Bitcoincity website is currently showing maintenance break, and I didn't find any information they are planing to shut down service or anything like that.
There is a good chance they got ddos attacked, but you can always try contacting them to their email address if you want
