Napoli going for Rasmus Hojlund I don’t see as a good fix or signing. I don’t think with the form of Hojlund he’s better than Giovanni Simeone who they let go to Torino. Going out to look for a striker they could have atleast gone for a quality goal scorer. Even Nicholas Jackson of Chelsea who has received a lot of negative attentions has been far better than Rasmus Hojlund. Time is ticking and Napoli I think is making a wrong choice and they’re not getting ready for the entire season cause I don’t see a squad depth that could play in all competitions including the UCL. Last season they struggled to win the league even while focusing on only Serie A.

Yes, we all know that Rasmus Hojlund's performance last season was really quite poor. However, given his relatively young age, if he is handled by the right coach, it is quite possible for the player to return to his best form. Additionally, Rasmus Hojlund has experience in Serie A, having previously played for Atalanta, so when he returns to Serie A and joins Napoli, the player will not need a long adaptation period to perform well on the field.

Rasmus Hojlund was simply not in the right team, and one example of this is McTominay, who is now a key player in Napoli's midfield. Initially, he was similar to Rasmus Hojlund in that he experienced a decline in form while at Manchester United, but after joining Napoli, he truly returned to his best form. This is the same hope that exists for Rasmus Hojlund when he joins Napoli. And speaking of his experience in the Champions League, Rasmus Hojlund has performed quite well in the Champions League, where in the 2023/24 season he scored 5 goals in 6 matches.
