Before you start gambling, the first thing you should do is ask yourself whether your intention for gambling is simply to seek entertainment or to seek profit, hoping to get rich quickly?
This is important, so try as much as possible to lower your expectations before entering gambling. Have a basic understanding of the impact of profits and losses in gambling. Once you have that, then when you experience a loss, it won't be a significant problem, and when you get a win, consider it a bonus.

The key is to be able to bear all the risks, one of which is being prepared to lose the money you're betting, because no gamble guarantees a win. Understanding this concept means you're ready to gamble.
Experienced gamblers may already have a thorough understanding of the concept of gambling, risk management, limits, game strategies, and so on. Therefore, they are naturally prepared to lose money, viewing it as part of the game, intended for entertainment. However, this does not guarantee that a gambler will avoid addiction and will always act responsibly.

For novice gamblers, understanding the concept of gambling is crucial, it will shape their character and how they gamble in the future. At some point, I think having a good understanding of the concept of gambling makes a gambler more confident in making decisions. Regardless, the true essence of gambling is luck, so don't ever hope to find wealth through gambling, that's very wrong.
