If you want to be free from gambling forever, I think the ball lies in your court but most times greed is what makes one unable to achieve that cause overtime they still fall back to the fact that they can't do away with gambling. But making that decision is better rather than having yourself drain up in addiction and loses.
Being free of gambling have never been the case with me, I haven’t thought of it and that’s mainly due to the fact that, I don’t consider myself an addict or see gambling to be a problem. I still have bad days at gambling but, it’s as much a part of the sports I support or fan and as such, they very much go together.
If you want to stay off gambling though, you’ve got to view it for the negativity it’s got on you while ignoring any positives to it and there, you might see reasons why you shouldn’t be gambling.
That is easier said than done for most persons so it is great for you if you can view gambling in that way. I can view gambling like you only when I am playing like 10 or 20 dollars as a maximum amount during a session and I don't care what happens with this amount of money, be it a win or a loss. If I happen to play well over 200 dollars for a session then I cannot be calm, I also cannot view it like a lost game of my favorite team at the stadium, losing such money nowadays has impact on everyone including me, well except the rich people, I am talking about people with average salary. Lately though I play very little money so I am happy about it and as I said I do not care what happens.
