When gamblers are isolated, without their support network, then there's a real chance that they will become completely addicted to it.
The good thing about friends, family, coworkers, and society as a whole, is that they give you feedback all the time, and you can use that to have a better life.
If you don't have that feedback loop you can end up in a very bad place real quick.
How important is where a person lives and how it affects his or her mentality.
Especially if they become addicts in a supportive environment, they won't be able to stop and just keep gambling, just like other things like drugs and some other crimes.
Such an environment will not give us a second chance, but if we have an environment that still cares and family and friends and relatives who care then we still have a chance to be able to end well.
But people who are addicted are usually closed to the gambling activities that are carried out, so in the end they will be honest when they lose everything.
