I’m wondering if there is a thread (I don’t want to step on toes) on the forum somewhere that people can list the things they’re looking for and offer a bounty to people for finding them. Anyone know of such a thing? I wouldn’t pay big money, but I’d toss $5 or maybe $20 to someone who could help me locate a piece I’m still searching for.

That’s a great idea. - What piece are you still looking for BTW?

I'm not in a position to share yet.  Smiley  What I'm collecting isn't worth anything, but I'm collecting very specific versions, so mostly I just need to be patient and wait for the listing to come along.

I do need some help getting certain autographs, but I need to be a little bit patient there as well.  I'm actually surprised how easy the internet has made collecting things.  When I was a kid you used to have to ride your bike all over town hoping a shop would have what you were looking for.  Now you just pop on eBay.  Kids these days don't know the adventures they're missing out on.

Its amazing now how we take the internet for granted - kind of.

We can find anything we want now online from all corners of the globe to
enhance our collections.

For my Vinyl, Discogs, EIL and Bandcamp are treasure trove, you know
each variant and how popular it is. I'm trying to remember how we did that
back in the 70's and 80's.

I remember cycling 5 miles to the nearest music shop and cycling home with a
record under my jacket trying to keep it from bending. That was the norm then,
now there is a different norm!
