I understand that feeling from both the manager and fans but the truth is, even on paper, Benfica is a better team than  Fenerbahçe. I already knew that was the end of the road for Mourinho and his boys when I saw the fixture. Just this morning it's been reported that Mourinho has been sacked by the clubs management. Mourinho is now without a club and a free agent as at this moment.
Material-wise players owned, the two teams should be evenly matched, but Benfica's momentum this season is much better than Fenerbahçe's, allowing them to achieve much more impressive results. In football, this is a common occurrence, and sometimes we can't attribute it to coincidence, as Benfica's preparation and quality are superior.

Being in a weaker team doesn't guarantee Jose Mourinho the opportunity to achieve more, as they struggle to keep up with the stronger teams. I'm still confident that many clubs will trust him to be their coach, even if Fenerbahçe eventually fires him.
