I understand that feeling from both the manager and fans but the truth is, even on paper, Benfica is a better team than Fenerbahçe. I already knew that was the end of the road for Mourinho and his boys when I saw the fixture. Just this morning it's been reported that Mourinho has been sacked by the clubs management. Mourinho is now without a club and a free agent as at this moment.
I saw the news on Mourinho's sack and I wasn't surprised myself, first he hasn't met the expectations of fenerbahçe in last one year, coupled with the fact that he didn't make it to the champions league. I think fenerbahçe have endure him his shenanigans enough, it's just unfortunate that the special one is drifting as the days goes by, he used to have the technical fire power to built a solid team, but all that is in the past now. He would definitely find another Job, but he needs to come back to winning ways.
