in the last 24 hours, two of the three big clubs fired their coaches. it was quite an interesting night; let's see what happens now.

i think mourinho got what he wanted. his indifferent attitude before almost every game and his blatant mockery of his own team, fenerbahçe, were causing a stir. he'll receive a hefty severance package for being fired, but i don't know what good that does fenerbahçe. they brought him in with high hopes, he openly mocked them, and now he's leaving with a suitcase full of money. after all, what was the point of firing mourinho after they were eliminated by benfica?

i think fenerbahçe will choose a turkish head coach next so they can compete in the league. the same goes for beşiktaş. these two teams change coaches quite frequently.

Our football club management really lacks foresight. First, they should agree with a new head coach, then if you're going to sack someone, do it. There's an election in September it's unclear whether the new club president will want to work with the coach they've just brought in. Now, because they sacked the current coach, they'll have to pay €15 million in compensation. Will fenerbahçe ever learn?
