Yeah, Sri Lanka has won the first ODI game against Zimbabwe when SL scored a target of 298 runs but Zimbabwe peft 7 runs behind. Sri Lanka opened the innings with Pathum and Nishan but lettre lost the wickets without any runs. Pathum was the player to score 76 runs when his partner left the team. This was the great effort of the middle order who leaded the runs to a high target. Zimbabwe's bowlers successed in getting six wickets but Sri Lanka has hitten a 298 runs target. Zimbabwe struggled from the start when its opener Brian was knocked out at zero runs creating a moment of pressure for the team. Two wickets were eliminated at zero runs but Ben and middle order player Sean made it possible to score 118 runs partnership. Zimbabwe's middle order deserved a round of appluase for their great performance and chasing the runs till 291 runs. Unfortunately they couldn't win this game but it was a great effort.
