Tottenham can be an excellent stepping stone for Simons: it makes sense to stay in the Bundesliga only if you play for Bayern Munich otherwise there is no point. Anyway he's moving to a pretty good team, for sure the salary is excellent, and he'll be living in London while playing for the best league in the world. Smart move in my opinion.
