Gambling does have a connection with divorce.Oftentimes, many gamblers hide their gambling activities from their spouse.Meanwhile, studies show that couples where one partner has a gambling problem, they're more likely to separate or divorce. In essence, gambling, especially compulsive often damages finances and trust in a marriage.
After all, it becomes too challenging to live with an addicted individual. It has a direct impact over the general health of the family and the relationship, so it's really not possible to blame someone for wishing to not continue married with an addicted. It's too stressing and frustrating. And when there are children involved, they suffer even more, because they are in a development stage of life, where every experiences will impact over their personality and behavior during adulthood.
