I'm quite curious about Amorim this season. After finishing poorly last year, Amorim has not started the league well today. It seems like Amorim isn't able to manage the players well. He even said that the match results and losses were intentional to make Amorim leave. So will he leave sooner? I think Amorim is under a lot of pressure right now. The improvements made by Amorim at great expense haven't shown any increase in strength in each league match.
The loss to Arsenal was understandable, considering Arsenal's squad depth was far superior in my opinion. However, being held to a draw by Fulham was a poor performance for Manchester United. I'm not underestimating Fulham's strength in that match, but Manchester United's play and attacking style were simply poor and ineffective.
Firing Amorim wouldn't be a bad idea if Manchester United's management could find a more competent replacement, but the problem with the team's performance isn't just the lack of a suitable coach, but also the depth of the squad. Manchester United need a major change and they really need to make it, otherwise this team will be as bad as it has been lately.
