Is Cristaino Ronaldo goals compensating his not so much contribution on team work? Or better to say, if any other younger star play in the Cristiano Ronaldo spot, can the Al Nasrr have better results?
For me this is not an easy question, but Al Nasrr needs to think about it aside of his renewal contract.
This is a difficult question to answer, if it weren't for the age factor, perhaps no one would question Ronaldo minimal contribution to teamwork. All players in the main Al Nassr squad are encouraged to support Ronaldo, with the aim of boosting the club prestige and the image of the Saudi Pro League. It must be acknowledged that Ronaldo contribution to defense is very minimal, and I think that's very reasonable due to his age.
It's very possible that if Al Nassr recruited other, younger and talented players, they would succeed in winning trophies. However, that might not be in line with Al Nassr initial goal, which is to achieve success because of Ronaldo. Overall, Al Nassr management certainly understands the situation better, but what is clear is that their goal in continuing to retain Ronaldo is to enhance the image of the Saudi Pro League.
