This batsman had scored 92 runs with the hard work and good performance of his team and if he had not come under pressure, he could have won the match with 7 runs but after being dismissed, Sri Lanka had very difficult chances of winning the match. But he was pressured by the Sri Lankan bowler due to which he failed even though he could have won the match with hard work and struggle. It was played with poor performance from his side. If he had batted better and played better, I hope that this margin could have been met. This bowler showed complete honesty to take 4 wickets with his hard work and pressure and has also achieved success.
I would also agree that if Zimbabwean player Sikandar Raja had not been out, perhaps today's result could have been different. However, he was also dismissed by Madushanka, who was the Player of the Match for today's match. He made a tremendous contribution to Sri Lanka's victory today. All four wickets he took were very important wickets, which basically enabled West Indies to put pressure on them and as a result, West Indies almost came close to winning but could not achieve victory.
Anyway, this match at least made me understand that this entire series will be a competition where both teams have the ability to beat each other.
