I know Real Madrid aren't yet performing the way we expect them to perform under Xabi Alonso guidance, but since Real Madrid have won their first two La Liga matches this season, I believe there's a positive progress in Real Madrid's performance, and when Real Madrid players fully understand Xabi Alonso's football, they will play with their strength and dominate La Liga and the champions league the way they used to.
We are taking our judgements from Xabi Alonso's past records for now since the season is still young and we need to see more of his performance in the league before jumping into conclusion. However, he has started well already with the two last matches played successfully.
