Chelsea are good when it comes to hijacking deals, I don't want to go into details, but I see their fans fuming over his decision to swing Tottenham Hotspur's way. I don’t understand why they should be fuming. Everyone was actually laughing at Tottenham the other day when they got caught out of the Eze deal by Arsenal. For me aside the fact that Chelsea is a bigger club that Tottenham and historical had more chances of actually winning tittles than Tottenham they shouldn’t be Xavi Simon’s destination because he will most definitely need more game time and at Chelsea it will be limited but at Tottenham he will fit right into the team.
Tottenham currently have two positions that they need depth at, which is the left wing and the attacking midfield position, it was clear that they needed one player to actually help fill into the profile of the two positions and it was clear why they opted for Eze then. Now Xavi Simon with similar style or profile is definitely a good signing
