Latest NBA rumor I’m seeing is that the Houston Rockets are willing to do whatever they have to in order to pair Kevin Durant with Giannis. I don’t think they have the cards to get him, but you never know. The Bucks can’t let Giannis walk in free agency in my opinion. They’re going to have to trade him.
Sure thing, if the Bucks see they can’t keep Giannis any longer, they’ll trade him. Thr Bucks management won’t just let him walk for nothing, they’ll make sure to get something in return before he hits free agency. He’s one of the best players right now, and that’s exactly the problem. Will the Bucks settle for a player below his level plus a couple of others to balance it out?
Any team that lands him will have to pay a huge price for sure. As for the Rockets, well, we saw how they went all in just to get Durant, but can they do it again for Giannis? And if so, how? Trade KD for him? That’s impossible, considering how much they gave up to acquire him. One thing’s for sure: it won’t be an easy negotiation, and whichever team gets Giannis will be in a win-win situation.
