Gambling does have a connection with divorce.Oftentimes, many gamblers hide their gambling activities from their spouse.Meanwhile, studies show that couples where one partner has a gambling problem, they're more likely to separate or divorce. In essence, gambling, especially compulsive often damages finances and trust in a marriage.
Although not exactly the same story with what is being discussed here but gambling have a lot to do with divorce and have lead to divorce that I know of. Remember that gambling involves money which is vital to running a family, if the man is gambling and it is affecting him in delivering on his duties as the man of the house, it will lead to problems which can eventually lead to divorce. There are instances in which a man concealing his gambling activities can even lead to divorce when the wife, who vowed never to marry a gambler, finds out. This is what I have experienced and till date the marriage ended.
