I am not rich, I consider myself as small gambler because my base bet is not big. I bet mostly between $0.1-$0.5, and I have never bet more than $0.5 for this kind of competition. The key is make bets as much as possible regularly, I started since the first day so basically what I did is like wagering $10k per day and it is basically easy to do with $0.1-$0.2 base bet playing the original games. The most important thing for me is that I should not spend more than the possible reward that I try to win. No secret Smiley
I'm very curious about your experience wagering for the leaderboard. How much did you spend so far to get the $500 reward if you win first place? Did you get luck to profit with your bets or are you burning a percentage because you still earn enough with the final prize like losing $300 to win $500 and walk with a $200 profit?
In the first week I managed to wage for $15000 for about $100. You would receive much benefit from wagering high such as cashback and rank up bonus. The total cashback I received in that bi-weekly event was around $45. Plus I won a prize for ~$200. To me it was a very affordable experience. if you want to play for profit, I think it is necessary to join at the start of the event because you can accumulate your wagering to also earn the rank up bonus (At $50000 we earn $100)
Now it's harder to do that since they lowered the total prize and more people have registered, I should have thought about this in the beginning but I was just testing the original games and playing normally with real risks and adrenalines, no infinite plinko with $0.10 bets. I even almost go bust when I was playing dice and did a bit of martingale at the end, luckly I won at the my last shot. Grin
