I think not a single person. So many different people posted here, nobody is addicted, then wtf so many talks about addiction and addicted gamblers? Dont you think its strange? We have thousands posts in this forum section, thousands posters, and only maybe 5-10 persons who have said they are or were addicted. Where is that "growing number of addicted gamblers" are hiding?

I like the kind of concern or observation you just raised now. If you scroll down to the board, and beyond, you will find many articles and threads created that address issue of gambling and addiction but only a few people will actually come out to confirm if they are an addict or not. Plus, if you are an addict, how did you realise you are one, meaning how does someone gets to know the rank at which they officially become an addict. If it due to the frequency of gambling or the volume of losses recorded or the different varieties of gambling participated in or what other factors categorises an individual with the name tag of a 'Gambling Addict'? I guess many people need to start coming out to speak of their individual addictions experience while we all work more on the solutions based on perculiarity. I think one needs to create an open thread where members here identify whether their addicts and their own experiences.
