Today fixture started with a blast off. Losc lille made it rain away from home as they smashed the home team lorient 7 goals to 1. It's been long I saw something like this sort in terms of scoreline in the French league, I mean this was just something different on the scale of French football an absolute goal fest, if there was any team I would have felt would score this sort of goals would be psg but it turns out lille was not messing around too.
Lorient got completely humiliated at home, and I was honestly shocked by how Lille crushed them with such a big score. It was really a case of Lorient being too ambitious in trying to take the game to Lille, but their defense just didn’t show up. They kept giving Lille way too much space, and Lille took full advantage of that. That kind of heavy loss is definitely going to stick with Lorient fans for a long time.
There were a lot of concerns going into this match after PSG didn’t seem very motivated in their last 2 games. While they were able to get wins, those narrow scorelines raised doubts ahead of today’s match. If PSG plays like they did before, a draw is definitely possible, but looking at the current odds, it seems like they have a better chance of winning today.
With all I have seen so far with football I don't think it's okay to be comfortable judging a game just by the terms of odd given by the bookmakers because football these days is filled with lots of surprises and I won't be also surprised if anything funny actually did happen in this particular fixture tonight.
