It absolutely makes much sense that Eberechi Eze picked Arsenal over Spurs because no player in the right senses will pick Spurs over Arsenal. Like I said in earlier post Spurs might have won an European trophy but still doesn’t offer better opportunities than Arsenal.
Apart from performance, salary clauses and adjustments are also important factors that can be seen at the moment, so it makes sense that Eze prefers Arsenal because in terms of popularity and several other factors, Arsenal is better than Spurs.
We cannot deny that Spurs won the Europa League last season, but that is the only thing they can be proud of as they are languishing at the bottom of the domestic league table.
The decision has been made, and for now, Eze represents a new source of motivation for Arsenal to achieve greater consistency in the future. After making several player adjustments, Arteta's task now is to maintain their mental resilience, which is a monumental challenge that will be extremely difficult to accomplish.
