Just looking at the Leeds Vs Newcastle match, menhhh this was never what I expected to see in the game. The score line is something else, it seems as though both teams are already settling for a goalless draw because I don't understand why no team has been able to break the deadlock so far. It's 80 minutes now and nothing, just two shots on target in the entire match. This slow start of the season for Newcastle might really affect them badly. In their bid to punish Isak they are at the same time punishing themselves.
The match ended a goalless draw and it was so unfortunate that they never played those bad when they faced Manchester City last week. Even if they lost the match, they played a more intense game than they did against Leeds United today. They need to be taken advantage of games against smaller teams like this while they battle for a draw when playing against bigger teams. This is not a good one for them as a team battling to win the champions league trophy and also in for the premier league top four at least by the end of the season.
This first victory could motivate Man United even more and could be a boost for Man United in their upcoming matches. A win will restore their confidence especially if it's a hard won victory. There were some positive developments in that match Mbeumo scored, Bruno converted a penalty, and Dalot provided an assist. Hopefully these players will do the same in their next matches.
Manchester United should have ended the game a lot more earlier than the time they got to win the game when they scored the last goal against Burnley. If they had lost this match, it will be more woe to their performance and they will not really have the courage and the boost needed by a team to continue their winning spirit in the premier league. This should boost them and fight more to be better than they were last season.
