I had the same thought, Ruben Amorim seems too insistent on using the 3-4-2-1 system, which at a glance doesn't seem effective in many matches. Amorim needs to change his approach to managing the team to maximize each player potential and achieve victories more easily.
However, if I'm not mistaken, Amorim once said that he wouldn't change anything, and if the management and club officials wanted a change in strategy, they would have to find another manager.
A good coach knows when he should adapt or modify the used tactics whenever the situation impose a change. It is not like what it was said they have to find another coach if they don't like the tactic.
Manchester United won hardly with only a goal difference and a very late penalty against Burnley. I don't see that as an achievement honestly and the club is at stake.
Tottenham Hotspur is the other fluctuating team that doesn't look great either after their defeat just a round after winning against Manchester City.
quite messy this start.
