I don’t even think Manchester United are even suppose to be happy. They were able to get a win today, but they should even be ashamed of themselves, a team like Manchester United struggled to get a win against Burnley, a team that’s just coming back from relegation and their performance isn’t so good. Manchester United couldn’t conveniently win Burnley, seriously Manchester United are just suppose to be ashamed of themselves.
Man United is just an average team but they have huge fan following. Last year Man United finished 15th and the way they have performed in first three games gives feeling that that they will repeat performance of last year. Burnley last appearance in EPL was in 2023/24 season when they finished in relegation zone. United are lucky to avoid a draw against Burnley only because of last minute goal on penalty by Bruno Fernandes. If Man United can merely win against a team like Burnley then how they will face teams like Arsenal and Liverpool in upcoming matches.
