let say among the top ten clubs that stands a chance of winning the champions League but as I have said before it's too early to be talking about which team is favorite to win or not because for the main time the season is just starting and alot of things can change which will affect performance of any team

I agree that it’s far too early to start talking about favourites to win the CL.

It’s so hard to win and that’s why you rarely ever see a team defend the title. Real Madrid are the only team to do that this century.

The usual suspects will be there but too early to single out definite favourites now.

You can already calculate probabilities or guess who could win the CL.

If you look at the squads of Barca or Real, not much has changed in principle. The only advantage Real has is that Xabi Alonso could change tactics as new coach.

Who else comes into question? PSG, as last season's winners, will of course try to defend the title, but I don't think they are strong enough to repeat their success.

Manchester City will continue to struggle with their lack of form and FC Bayern Munich could also have a chance, but I don't think they will reach the final either, Kompany is not tactically good enough to compete with the best European teams.

Nevertheless, it remains exciting, but my current favorite is Real Madrid due to Xabi Alonso's transfer.
