Google and Apple are pretty strict with gambling apps on their stores. They host them but they are subject to many rules. The majority of people have little knowledge of installing .apk files and apps outside of those popular stores.
That’s correct and not to mention that you will need to change your mobile settings to "allow installation forom unkown sources" which might be a bit risky.
