I had the same thought, Ruben Amorim seems too insistent on using the 3-4-2-1 system, which at a glance doesn't seem effective in many matches. Amorim needs to change his approach to managing the team to maximize each player potential and achieve victories more easily.
However, if I'm not mistaken, Amorim once said that he wouldn't change anything, and if the management and club officials wanted a change in strategy, they would have to find another manager.
Amorim seems to care less about his poor performances. He does not want to change his tactics and it will end up eating him up in this manner. Manchester United is losing it every day and is becoming a big fish to eat for the small clubs. He has not really maximize the potential of his players and make it look like the club doesn't have a composition of good players. Players like Hojlund already planning of leaving the club for a greener pasture.
Although Amorim was able to at least ease the pressure mounted on him with this slight opportunity he got but it still does not speak well of the club. I just hope the management is able to take the right decision at the right time but the fear again is, it is too bad for the management's subsequent change of managers.
