The record was finally broken 9 goals in a single game to overtake the early total of 8 goals that came out in the game between Lorient and Lille.
Toulouse started this season with an incredible performance, their teamwork helped the team to defeat Brest and Nice in their opening games of this season, after seeing the match result of these two matches I took them very serious. They look like a team that is ready to compete for the title this season; because of that, I wasn’t even expecting PSG to score up to six goals against them, but leaders will always lead by example and that’s what PSG did even though they were about to lose it towards the ending of today’s match when Toulouse triggered their fear to play good game.
